Location: São Paulo, SP, Brazil (home office encouraged)

Job Descriptions:

  • New deal sourcing and screening
    • The associate is expected to search Brazilian startups which are in scope of Brazil Venture Capital’s focus. Search includes literature search, attending conferences and tradeshows, organizing BVC’s event and marketing activities, introduction by other investors and inbound contacts.
    • After finding high potential startups, the associate contact with the starups to look for more information and conduct preliminary analysis.
  • Support deal closing and after investment
    • Support evaluating high potential deals by assisting senior capitalist. (eg. by researching relevant market both in Brazil and other benchmarking countries, by analyzing business plan and financial plan…etc.)
    • Draft preliminary investment recommendation for the investment committee
    • Prepare contract and other documents.
  • Support portfolio companies with
    • Help developing businesses of portfolio companies
    • Assist generating update reports

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Collaborative and disciplined independent professional with time management skill
  • High interest in entrepreneurship, venture financing and new technology
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking ability
  • Strong knowledge of Excel for financial modeling and Powerpoint professional presentation
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English

  • Contract: Independent consultant (Pessoa Jurídica)
  • Benefit: Starting from R$2000 all inclusive
  • Schedule: 100% flexible. The associate should define working day and hour by his/her own decision
  • Location: 100% flexible. Home office encouraged. Occasional personal meeting in São Paulo capital is required a few times a week. Video conference system is offered by BVC.
